The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (I’m just glad THIS was nothing like Ren and Stimpy: “Adult Party Cartoon”)ĥ. It actually was one of the two shows that revived Cartoon Network’s reputation, unlike Ben 10)Ħ. The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack (I honestly really hate the fact that there were people who treated this one like if it came from hell. Lee was the first female Asian superhero to have her own show. Jake Long in Juniper Lee style not very detailed or hi-quality but I liked working on it for fun anyway. There were three animated programs with Asian protagonists: Jackie Chan Adventures, American Dragon: Jake Long, and The Life and Times of Juniper Lee. Camp Lazlo! (It may not have as good as Rocko’s Modern Life, but at least it felt like a GOOD Nickelodeon show for once at least this isn’t My Gym Partner’s a Monkey)ħ. While both are well-versed in magic and carrying convenient items, were pitting them head-to-head with only their fists and innate abilities. I've only tapped into it a little in the show, but for me, knowing it's there is important. There's a rather massive back story to the whole thing, which really provides a spine to build from. In the Season One intro, Spud plays the drums in Jakes imaginary band. At the end of the day, it's about a little girl who fights monsters.
